Am I Stressed?

Understanding your level of stress is the first step in taking control.

How this test works

The Perceived Stress Scale (PSS) is the most often used psychological instrument for measuring stress perception. Clinically approved and widely used by NHS and other reputable medical services, it was developed by Cohen et al (1983) as a highly recognised psychological measure for measuring stress perception.

To gauge how stressful your life is, you can use the Perceived Stress Scale (PSS).

The set of questions are aimed to assess how unpredictable, uncontrollable, and overloaded you consider your life to be, as well as a direct question about your current level of stress.

The PSS questions examine about the past month’s worth of thoughts and feelings. There is nothing complicated about them, and they are of a broad nature. This ensures that the test does not favour or disadvantage any particular subpopulation.
